The offset lithograph in colors on white wove paper is signed by the artist in pencil upper left, inscribed number 282 from the edition of 300 prints, and dated 1964.
Foot and Hand is an important early example of what would become the artist’s own style of thick outlines, bright, bold colors and deployment of Ben-Day dots on this scale. One could argue this image served as an early standard for the post-war Pop Art movement itself.
