Rare 18k Gold Patek Philippe Art Nouveau Lapel Watch
The fine 18 karat gold and enamel lady’s watch with circular case fronted by a porcelain enamel dial having hand painted Arabic numerals in black along with the maker’s name and five-second markers outside the chapter ring in gold, rococo style rose gold colored hands and reverse depicting a maiden in profile with trailing hair and fruiting vine of Art Nouveau design incorporating European cut diamond ‘grapes’ measuring approximately 1.4 mm each in gold openwork stamped PP.Co inside with Mercury export hallmark and Minerva guarantee hallmark along with 0.750 and serial number that matches that of the dust cover, the blue enamel dust cover behind the flowing maiden opens to a ruby jeweled nickel bridge movement numbered 103232.
An associated hanger of sculpted woody fruiting vine motif in gold tested at 14 karat and set with eleven 1.6mm diamond ‘grapes’ is included. The hanger is unmarked.
