McKim & Brother
Small scale percussion-cap black powder rifle with double set triggers, octagonal barrel with front blade and rear sight. Lock plate with etchings and marked ' McKim & Brother Baltimore.' Stock is one-piece smooth wood with straight grip and cheek rest with brass trigger guard and butt plate. Includes wood ramrod. The length and proportions are smaller scale overall.
Measures 43 inches overall, 28 inch barrel.
Barrel, hammer and lock plate with a brown patina. Stock with a reasonable amount of dings and scratches, but many cracks around the lock/trigger area and along the barrel, wood missing along barrel in multiple places. Nipple slightly rotated upwards.
