Winchester Model 1873 'King's Improvement', .38-40 cal lever-action rifle manufactured in 1886, walnut stock and forearm, 24' round barrel and a 15 round tubular magazine, steel butt plate, adjustable rear sight with iron front sight. Marked 'Model 1873' on the top tang at the wrist. Barrel and loading block marked '38 CAL'
Measures 43 inches overall, 24.5 inch barrel.
Bluing 90% with light surface oxidation on the magazine and receiver. Stocks with minor dings and discoloration. Scratches on bottom of brass loading block.
