87: A 1900 LONDON STERLING INKWELL WITH CUT CRYSTAL

Maker: Samuel Walton Smith, London, 1900 Sterling inkwell stand of serpentine triangular form with serpentine pierced gallery of scrolling foliate centering a shield-shaped reserve, raised on three whorl feet, the solid stand with sterling-mounted cut crystal lidded well. Engraved on bottom S.D. Neill, Belfast for retailer: Sharman D. Neill - Belfast, Ireland 1885-1936. Measures 3.25 x 8.75 x 5 inches.
Very good condition, there are no monograms or engravings, no damage, repair or heavy wear. No chips, cracks or repairs to glass, very good overall.
