A fine rosewood table-top model with single panel magnifying lens and stereo lenses, ornate ormolu scrollwork support, scroll cut easel on brass rods with bone finials, a plaque on the base reads, 'Graphoscope, patented July 6th, 1875.' folds into a finely detailed burl walnut box with ebonised trim. Measures 5.25 x 10.75 x 13 inches closed, opens to 22.75 x 11 inches high.
