182: A FRENCH CAMEO GLASS VASE SIGNED GALLE

An early 20th century cameo glass vase decorated by acid-etched orange-red flowers, leaves and stems on a yellow background. The vase is widest at the shoulder, narrowing toward the bottom where it flares out to form the base. Toward the top, the vase narrows to form a soft shoulder and then flares out to form a circular rim. The partially effaced cameo signature "Galle" is found in the background in the bottom half of the vase. Measures 6 x 2.5 inches.
