39: A GOOD EARLY 20C. ENGLISH BRASS-MOUNTED OAK LETTER BOX

The tall case with overhanging top and cove molding above the brass letter slot and hinged door with glass is found in a nice golden brown patina. The door retains the original celluloid maker's tag of Army & Navy C.S.L. Makers. They manufactured many quality items including brass bound campaign furniture to the same high standards as this stately cabinet.
Measures 11.75 x 9.5 x 7.5 inches.
Very good original condition throughout, original finish and repair, a working key is included.
