The cast pendant in the style of Diquis shaman figure with zoomorphic characteristics depicted within a half-circle frame, tests to 14 karat or slightly more.

Originally, the gold figurines and depictions created by the Amerindians of Central and South America served as trading objects, ornamentation and symbols of power and status. Deities and ceremonial figures were popular subjects.
Measures 1.75 x 1.75 inches with a weight of 33.8 grams.
