Qi Baishi [1863-1957] [Ch'i Pai-Shih] was a versatile artistic genius and one of China's greatest modern painters. This work was done while he was a member of the Rong Bao Zhai, in Beijing, the most respected painting studio of the time. Printed in color woodcuts these fine examples resemble the artist's original color paintings.
