391: A GEORGIAN CHEESE WHEEL STAND, 50 CHEESE SCOOPS, MORE!

The long time collection of cheese making and serving antique assembled by one couple includes five sterling silver cheese scoops by Gorham and Shreve, Crump & Low, each marked sterling, total weight 10.68 ozt. Plus more than 30 cheese scoops with weighted sterling or other fancy handles, still others with interesting working mechanisms; eleven cheese knifes with bone handles; more common cheese scoops, several slicers, long 19th century iron cheesemaking tools, and a fine Georgian mahogany cheese wheel trolley with carved handles, dovetailed cabinet construction and the four original brass castors.
Scoops measure 7 to 11.25 inches. Cheese wheel trolley measures 7.5 x 17.5 x 11 inches.
Very good condition, noting monograms on some of the sterling scoops, light oxidation on some of the less fancy scoops and slicers. The wheel trolley is in very good condition free from damage, repair or wear.
