45: A STATION PRINT ADVERTISING THE BLACK DIAMOND EXPRESS

The photomechanical print with color depicts the Lehigh Valley 'Black Diamond Express', so named for it's primary cargo, anthracite coal, is captured as it sits alongside a body of water. The green mat, presumably of the period, possibly original, is trimmed with tan paper framing the image and a logo lower left along with the title lower center; ' Black Diamond Express. Handsomest Train in the World. Lehigh Valley Railroad System.
Sight size measures 12 x 20.25 with a framed size of 22.5 x 31.75 inches.
Apparently the condition is good, moderate stain left side and from the original wood back, no damage, repair, punctures or tears. This has not been examined outside the frame.
