14: AN ART DECO POLLY'S ROOT BEER DIE CUT ADVERTISING SIGN

The two-color letterpress cardstock sign reads 'For Real Flavor, Polly's Root Beer,' impressed text with red foil, a lithograph vignette with parrot applied to the top of the sign, signed Embosograf with a watermark on the reverse.
Measures 13.75 x 11 inches.
Very good condition, noting toning and foxing, a tatter on the lower edge.
Provenance: Polly's Soda Pop was in business from 1923 to 1967 in Independence, Missouri. In 2016, Polly's Pop was resurrected and is located in the historic Independence Square.
