3082: A LIFE-SIZED CARVED FRUITWOOD FEMALE STATUE CLOCK

An astounding Continental carved fruitwood statue clock, the classical maiden in flowing robe and flowing hair standing near an urn with dove on naturalistic base and holding aloft a time and strike time piece within an intricately carved frame of flowers, foliage and ribbons; resting on a neoclassical columnar base with recessed reeding, gold egg-and-dart trim, raised on four lion headed cartouche feet with foliate carvings.
Measures 93.5 x 30 x 30 inches.
Very good condition. Break and repair at the small bird's leg and foot area. No other chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear. The time keeping condition is not known.
