The high arched headboard surmounted by an arched pediment with an elaborate cabochon shield over triple arched recessed molded panels with burled wood panel spandrels centering a carved rosette and carved acanthus embellishments, flanked by elaborate turned finials over corner blocks, conforming footboard and rails all with gilt incised highlights.
Measures 89 x 65 x 80 inches. Opening for the mattress measures 57.5 x 76, accommodating a full size mattress.
Excellent condition with fine gold detail, no damage, repair or visible wear.
