The over-upholstered tufted rectangular back flanked by elaborately carved and gilt highlighted stiles, the thick over upholstered out scrolling arms with elaborately and highly detailed carved gilt metal-mounted female mask supports, center tablet of seat rail with gilt incised decoration flanked by burled wood plaques raised on two front legs headed by palmettes and ending in stylized cloven feet on casters. Upholstered in a British hunter green tone-on-tone stripe.
Measures 35 x 33.5 x 31 inches.
Very good condition throughout, no damage or repair, minor edge wear and very, very minor finish irregularities, excellent appropriate high quality upholstery.
