After Bruno Zach, known as "Dance of the Favorite", an orientalist theme cold painted bronze table lamp signed K. Salat, the Austrian pseudonym for Ukrainian sculptor Bruno Zach who emigrated to Vienna in the early 20th century. Probably Austrian, this lamp is unmarked, circa 1910. Measures 16.5 x 11.5 inches.
All original and intact, good condition overall. The female figure is loosely mounted, there are no bent, broken or missing elements, there is considerable wear to the original cold painted polychrome decoration. No touch-up or repair has occurred. The wiring, and perhaps the light socket itself, has been replaced. A hole in the base far left back corner.
