A fine jeweled champlev?enamel silver pedestal bowl with gilt interior, the rim decorated with a champlev?enamel band of flower heads and foliate scrolls interspersed with six cabochons, the body below decorated with rising arched panels having beaded borders enclosing florals and foliate scrolls, similar decoration encircles the foot. Hallmarked Moscow, 1908-1917, Cyrillic maker's mark MC for Maria Semenova and second Kokoshnik mark silver standard 84. Weight 11.5 ounces.
Scattered minor bits of colored enamel lost, revealing white enamel undercoating.
