Each decorated with a transfer scene of courting couples in 18th century dress front side and hand painted landscape opposite side, gold enamels against a cobalt ground, bronze mounts. A matching pair with finials that differ slightly. Each measures 17 x 6.75 inches each.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs.
