52: A PAIR OF EARLY 20TH C BRONZE PUTTO CANDELABRA WITH

Models after Ernest Justin Ferrand (1846-1932), each cast as a putto holding aloft a stylized torch issuing seven foliate candle cups on foliate draped arms, on a shaped waisted square onyx plinth raised on bronze claw feet. Signed Ferrand in the casting of the naturalistic base. Each onyx base was originally mounted with a champleve' enamel plaque, one has been completely restored with paint.
Measure 33 x 10.5 inches.
Good condition, the onyx bases display some scratches and darkening of the surface color, there are no issues of damage or repair to onyx or bronze.
