A nice example of an M-1864 sword, the ricasso marked 'US A.D.B.' and 'Ames Mfg Co., Cabotville, 18', leather grip with wire wrap, brass knuckle guard, original scabbard with double rings.
Blade measures 35.5 inches, 41.25 inches overall.
Good condition, evidence of minor sharpening to blade, a few small nicks and dents to the scabbard.
