157: CHERRY DOUBLE GRIFFIN FIGURAL PEDESTAL WITH CLAW F

A late 19th century cherry pedestal with carved winged griffins and embossed lion's heads, center leaf-and-berry carving below lion's head, bracketed by pair of winged griffins, each with textured bodies and single clawed foot. Measures 38.5 x 16 x 15.5 inches. Very good restored condition.
