Includes two meerschaum examples, one with carved grapes and leaves, yellow stem, has been smoked, 6 inches, and includes blue velvet lined case. Also another meerschaum pipe with head of Bacchus/Dionysus enshrouded in grapes and leaves, 5.75 inches, also smoked, tiny chip at inner edge of bowl. Another carved wood example with applied antlers and glass eyes, measures 5 inches. Lot also includes two porcelain Manhattan bowls, an Amsterdam bowl, plus wooden or briar examples by GBD, Stanwell Denmark, Jeantette 2000, Diebel KC, Ben Wade, Willhite, Ropp, Ehrlich, Ben Wade, Savinelli, G.W. Sims, plus other English, Italian and French examples. Most marked. 30 pipes total, plus two racks, one holding six, other in leather, and holds five.
