258: A MEIJI PERIOD LACQUER KIMONO STAND

Black lacquer decorated wood stand, uprights and cross sections with painted floral decoration, engraved brass fittings and decoration. Measures 62 x 75 x 17 inches. Provenance: previously in the collection of King Farouk of Egypt.
Cosmetically very good, all intact, dried and loosened fittings and joints make for a less than sturdy stand.
