253: A 19C CHINESE TWO-HANDLED CLOISONNÉ TRIPOD CENSOR

A mid to late 19th century cloisonné censor decorated on the main body with flowering lotus & meandering tendrils in Ming dynasty style, the high cover & legs with worked un-enameled copper passages of bats amongst clouds and gilt Buddhist lion heads respectively. Measures 10 x 8.5 x 5 inches.
Good condition, slightly off center though no enamel damage or loss, a gouge to the top of one handle, one loose but intact and sturdy leg.
