39: A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH BRONZE FIGURAL PAGE ENCRIER

A 19th century French Bronze Encrier, figure of a page, the rectangular black beveled slate base supporting the bronze figure of a Medieval page, helmet and gloves rest on a plinth next to her leg; the lidded domed and gadrooned inkwell with trefoil and Gothic arch motifs. Measures 6.25 x 5.75 x 3 inches.
Very good original condition noting thin shallow corner flakes to the slate base.
