A solid 18k gold curved side tank gent's manually wound wristwatch made for Tiffany & company of NYC by the Concord Watch Company of Bienne, Switzerland and imported by Concord Watch Company of New York City, circa 1940. The yellow gold case with slightly flared lugs and stepped bezel with the snap on back cover gold marked for the owner on the outer side, 'Roland Theary' and marked with the Swiss gold hallmark of Helvetia and 18k on the inside of the casing, also noted is the Swiss cross with 'patent filed' and the case serial number of 181636. The white enameled dial with luminous upright Arabic hour chapter, closed minute ring to the outside, skeletonized luminous hands and the dial marked for Tiffany & Co. The movement a manually wound mechanical movement with 17 jewels, adjusted to temp and two positions, made in Switzerland and marked for the Concord Watch Company. Bimetallic balance wheel and Swiss type regulator. Attached to a brown alligator strap. Measures 8 inches.
Very good running condition. Scratches to the casing with scuffs and rubs on the periphery of the dial.
