Achromatic Stereoscope No. 748 with storage cabinet base to stow the viewer, signed Smith, Beck and Beck, London on the lacquered-brass lens panel, polished mahogany body, mirrored reflecting lid, lens pair with rack-and-pinion adjustment, good optics, smooth operation. Measures 10.5 x 8 x 7.25 inches when assembled, 5.25 x 8 x 7.25 inches when stowed.
