176: A FRENCH CAMEO GLASS SCENIC VASE SIGNED GALLE

An early 20th century cameo glass vase decorated with acid-etched brown and green trees beside a lake on shaded green frosted ground. The bulbous vase narrows toward the top and then constricts to form a soft shoulder. At the top, the vase flares out and in to form a circular mouth. The cameo signature "Galle" is found in the trees below the midsection of the vase. Measures 11.5 x 4.25 inches.
