168: A STEUBEN GOLD AURENE COVERED PETAL JAR

The gold iridescent jar of classical form, bulbous at the shoulder with a short vertical rim. The lid is rounded and extends beyond the rim of the jar and is finished with an applied knob at the top along with three original drill holes for scent. The engraved signature "Aurene" along with an illegible number is found on the underside. Measures 6 x 3.5 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of wear.
