An early Doulton biscuit jar of collapsing bag form with pebble finish and blue transfer pattern design. Fully marked under the base with the Doulton Burslem black ink mark and embossed Doulton and Slater's Patent mark in shield shape frame. Measures 5 x 7.5 x 7 inches.
The silver is fully worn from the mounts to the base metal. No chips, cracks or repairs.
