The porcelain body with a detailed lion hunting scene in relief depicting noblemen on horseback in a tumultuous battle, a figural lion finial on the cover with laurel leaf and garland, a primitive bronze strap on the handle and thumb lift on the cover. Unmarked except for an impressed number 39.
Broken and missing tips on some of the leaves on the lid. A chip on the mane of one of the lions on the body. No other chips, cracks or repairs.
