171: A FINE PAIR 19TH C. BRONZE FARMER AND FISHERMAN FIGURES

A well cast pair of bronze allegorical figures with outstanding detail, the depiction of 1.) a male figure leaning on his plow, and 2.) a male figure standing with ship's anchor and nets. Each retains a nice dark, warm patina and measures 14 x 6 inches.
Very good condition. One is loose on its base, both have excellent dark patina with the exception of minor rubs on some high points.
