Two good Mexican retablo paintings in original embossed tin frames inset with reverse painted glass panels, similar to those found 100 years ago or more on the religious pilgrimage to Magdalena de Kino for the Festival of St. Francis in Sonora, Mexico. The larger measures 13.5 x 20 inches overall with a sight size of the painting itself at approx. 6.5 x 9.5 inches. The smaller measures 8.5x 11.5 inches overall with a sight size of approx. 4 x 5.75 inches.
Very good condition as shown. Each displays the typical and expected amount of wear resulting from age.
