17: A RARE 19TH C. FLASK WITH RACEHORSE FLORA TEMPLE

A scarce blown glass flask fronted by an image of side view of a horse though stable doorway with tassels hanging above. Embossed lettering of 'Flora Temple Harness Trot 2.19 1/4', medium to dark green, tooled mouth with ring, applied handle with scrolling end, plain base without pontil, circa 1860-1870. Good condition, noting a small flake top right corner of the frame that surrounds the the horse figure, light side abrasion to the back side, minimal abrasion to the design side, very minor wear at the narrow side shoulders up high on the bottle as if wear from contact while standing. There are no other chips, cracks or repairs.
