309: A LOUIS XVI STYLE ONYX AND GILT METAL GUERIDON

Circular pierced lozenge gallery with variegated cream and russet brown veined circular onyx slab, above a conforming frieze mounted with a scrolling acanthus cast guilloche band, gilt rosette die joins heading four tapering fluted columnar legs enclosing fleur d'asperges chandelles, ending in tapering splayed feet and joined by a shaped tripartite stretcher with plain knob finial. Late 19th century. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
Very good condition noting minor scattered spotting on the finish, lower shelf. Minor wear and rubs, no damage or repair.
