294: A PAIR OF SEVRES TYPE PORCELAIN URNS WITH ORMOLU MOUNTS

The late 19th century pair of typical baluster form with ormolu acanthus finial on domed cover (one cover is a replacement) the cobalt ground porcelain with raised gold enamel decoration of rococo swirls, oval paintings on the body depicting 18th century romantic scenes artist signed Armand, the reverse with simpler pastoral scenes, ormolu rococo style handles and acanthus castings where the body meets the porcelain socle on conforming ormolu base with four feet. One domed cover is a replacement. Each measure 18.75 x 7.5 inches. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
Both covers are restored, one is a replacement. Good condition otherwise without additional damage or repair, now wear or surface loss.
