357: A 19C. LAP DESK WITH STERLING AND CRYSTAL INKWELLS

The lap desk with highly figured veneers is complete with its compartments and two inkwells. Two additional inkwells are included with the lap desk. One of the additional inkwells is pressed glass with sterling sliver collar and hinged lid having repoussé scrolls centered by an engraved monogram, the other is faceted and polished crystal, both are circa 1900.
Measures 5 x 13 x 9 inches.
Very good condition throughout, no damage, repair or heavy wear, noting veneer loss from one lower edge corner as shown.
