212: A 19TH C. FRENCH GUERIDON WITH SEVRES STYLE PORCELAIN

The shaped oval top with round projecting corners edged in gilt beading with a pierced gilt apron of foliate swags, inset with a Sevres-style oval porcelain bowl the central scene depicting two figures in pastoral landscape within a celeste bleu border, raised on down sweeping legs with applied gilt bronze foliate mounts and terminating in gilt bronze hoof feet, the whole supported on a shaped quatrefoil plinth base edged in gilt banding within conforming gilt foliate mounts, centered by an inset Sevres-style oval plaque with hand painted roses.

Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
Very good original condition free from damage, repair, replacements or heavy wear. A bit of wear around the edges, one loose but not detached bronze mount, light gold wear on the gold trim of the porcelain bowl.
