An oil on canvas portrait of a young man in red hat, unsigned, the frame bears a brass tag that reads J. E. Gaisser Munchen. Circa mid 19th century, the frame liner is of the period, the outer frame 20th century. Overall framed size is 36 x 31 inches. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. Very good, there is considerable inpainting throughout the lower left quadrant.
