103: A 19TH C. FRENCH EMPIRE STYLE BRONZE MOUNTED VITRINE

Rectangular antico verde marble top with shallow breakfront, above an inlaid frieze with two metal mounted Winged Victory grasping a wreath which centers gilt cast scrolling foliate designs and wreath motifs, the conforming case fitted with a single rectangular glazed and keyed door opening to reveal a glass shelved interior with silk backing flanked by fixed glazed paneled sides, further flanked by caryatid en gaine pilasters, scrolling foliate mounted base and raised on toupie feet. Measures 54 x 48 x 14.75 inches. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
Water stain to the original silk backing. Otherwise very good, all original condition free from damage, repair, replacement or heavy wear. Very minor rubs, scratches and finish irregularities. A working interior light.
