The rare large format lithograph, among the rarest and most desirable of Benton prints, published in an edition of 100 prints is signed by the artist in pencil below the image lower right, Fath catalog number 34. The condition is very fine.

Benton's comments in Fath read: Scene from Steinbeck's 'Grapes of Wrath.' A large reproduction (billboard size) was made to advertise a Fox Co. movie made from the book. A painting was also made of this subject which is still in my hands.
Image measures 12.75 x 18.25 with a framed size of 23.5 x 28.75 inches.
Very fine, clean condition, the full untrimmed sheet with deckle edges, not laid down, no damage, stain, puncture or repair; framed to archival standards in acid free mounts. An exceptional example.
