110: THREE FRAMED PROMOTIONS FOR THE B & O RAILROAD

1. Laying The First Stone, offset lithograph for Baltimore and Ohio Railroad reads 'One Hundred Years of Service, 1827 1927,' printed artist's signature Stanley Arthur (1880-1963) lower right, heavy cardstock, presumably a calendar top.

Toning and repaired breaks across the lower margin and upper corners. Broken and repaired corners, the entire lower portion, side breaks etc, surface toning.

2. A World War Two era poster for the B & O Railroad with motif of chain linking commerce and picturing a steam locomotive along side a streamliner. Good condition, light toning in places, tight tears, the appearance of being laid down. This has not been examined outside the frame.

3. A 1920s Calendar top picturing a steam powered locomotive and train passing through the Potomac Valley. Good condition as shown.
Overall framed size measures 21.25 x 21.25, 20.5 x 25.25, and 36 x 26.25 inches.
