6: A FINE PAIR 19TH CENT CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE FLOOR VASES

Each baluster form vase rising to a flared neck terminating in a flared petal form rim, neck and body shaped reserves on front and reverse centering large panels of pheasant and other smaller birds amongst flowering peony boughs and rocks, set on a richly flowered ground, the handles modeled as pairs of Buddhist lions, the shoulder also with modeled chilong, two rows of colored lappets at the foot, blossoming trees, the body reserve featuring a standing phoenix on a rocky formation amongst blossoming branches and birds, on a white ground with delicately enameled green foliate tendrils with pink chrysanthemums and berries, flanked by foo dog and pup form handles, ending with a double enameled feather band motif, raised on a circular narrow flange foot, gilt highlights throughout.
Measure 35 x 13 inches each exclusive of the stands.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear, light gold wear at the rim, minor chips, breaks and splits to the carved wood stands.
