72: TWO PRINTED IMAGES AFTER ALPHONSE MUCHA


Two framed works: a mechanical color offset lithograph after the original work by Alphonse Mucha titled The American Mercury an allegory of America's contribution to transportation, depicted by the truck in Mercury's hand.

Plus a two-color image of Sarah Bernhardt as Messilinde on Joffroy Rudel's galleon, a scene from La Princesse lointaine, Theatre de la Renaissance, Paris, France, circa 1895.

Professionally framed and matted in archival materials.
Image sizes 5.25 x 3.75 and 8.5 x 12.5, frames measure 11.5 x 9.5 and 16.5 x 21 inches.
Apparently the condition is very good, very clean, intact, no visible stain, damage, repair, punctures or tears. Neither work has been examined outside the frame.
