The color lithograph cover design after the Alphonse Mucha illustration, created for Irving Place Theater brochure depicting a Classical drama as a female allegory, lower title of Theodore Burgarth Director, circa 1908-1910, published by Frank v. Strauss
& Co. NY, likely printed after the Deutches Shauspielhaus Theatre was closed as the original lettering appears to have been erased, noting traces of the original wording visible, at one time the stock lithography served both theaters.
Sight size 8.75 x 5.75, frame measures 15 x 11.75 inches.
Very good condition, noting smudges and or toning, the standard expected effects of age and storage.
