526: AN OLD SHEFFILED PLATE CAKE BASKET WITH ENGLISH COMPOTE

A large english glass navette form cut and polished crystal compote on stand. Plus an early 19th century Old Sheffield plate basket with swing handle, one loose tine.
Compote measures 8 x 13 x 9 inches. Basket is 9 x 12.5 x 9 with the handle.
Very good condition, noting two minor corner bumps on the foot of compote, plus one separated tine on the basket shows old lead solder repair remains.
