102: GREAT FRENCH MAJOLICA OYSTER AND ASPARAGUS PLATES

A fabulous collection of French majolica: including four oyster plates designed to create wells for oysters within the design of whimsical stylized sea creatures in brightly colored glazes, circa 1950, each signed Cerenne Vallauris back side; plus two artichoke and asparagus pattern French majolica plates signed Salin, along with a pair of Luneville French majolica asparagus motif plates.
Diameter sizes range from 9 to 10.25 inches.
Very good condition throughout. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear.
