Aquatint etching titled 'Kansas City, Bridge' on the mat, a.k.a. 'Through Winter Steam,' unsigned. A newspaper clipping from the period pictures this work and provides the following information: 'The Kansas City artist made this picture as she stood near Union Station on Main street and looked toward the Candler building. Steam from locomotives in the terminal yard forms into interesting clouds.'
Image measures 8.25 x 6.5 with a frame of 20.75 x 16.25 inches.
Apparently the condition is very good. There are no visible issues of damage, repair, stain, discoloration or trimming. This work has not been examined outside the frame.
Provenance: Acquired from the artist's family.
