408: IMPERIAL JAPANESE CAVALRY SWORD, GUNTO TYPE 32

An NCO type 32 Gunto, circa 1889 with matching numbers 82433 on the ricasso and scabbard drag, checkered wood grip, steel backstrap, crab's eye nut screw, foundry marks on guard, single ring suspension, soft steel scabbard.
Blade measures 32.75 inches, 38 inches overall.
Very good condition.
